Volleyball Game Preview: Silverado Skyhawks vs. Arbor View Aggies

Silverado hasn't had much luck against Arbor View recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Skyhawks will square off against the Aggies at 6:00 p.m. Silverado will be strutting in after a win while Arbor View will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with eight losses in a row, Silverado turned things around against Amplus Academy on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Archers.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 23-25, 25-16, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Arbor View faced Coronado in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Aggies came up short against the Cougars, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Aggies have suffered since March 27th.

While Arbor View ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-20, 25-18.

Silverado's win bumped their record up to 7-18. As for Arbor View, their loss dropped their record down to 16-15.

Silverado couldn't quite get it done against Arbor View in their previous meeting last Saturday as they fell 2-0. Can the Skyhawks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
