Soccer Game Preview: Fort Meade vs. Bartow

The Fort Meade Miners will head out on the road to challenge the Bartow Yellow Jackets at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fort Meade will be strutting in after a victory while Bartow will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Fort Meade turned things around against Hardee on Friday. They skirted past the Wildcats 3-2.

Meanwhile, Bartow didn't have quite enough to beat Davenport on Friday and fell 2-1.

Fort Meade's win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Bartow, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season.

Fort Meade might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Bartow in their previous meeting back in November of 2023. Can Fort Meade avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
