Jacob Fish made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Fish was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024.
In other pitching news, Blake Bolduc looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run any time he's pitched this season.
