Volleyball Recap: Memphis Takes a Loss

Memphis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the St. Clair Saints. The Yellowjackets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Saints apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.

Memphis' defeat dropped their record down to 3-22-1. As for St. Clair, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-23-2.

Memphis has already played their next match (against Merritt Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for St. Clair, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Marine City on the 25th.
