Basketball Game Preview: Harker Eagles vs. Crystal Springs Uplands Gryphons

The Harker Eagles will challenge the Crystal Springs Uplands Gryphons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Harker is returning to their home court after beating Eastside College Prep on theirs, despite the fact Eastside College Prep has dominated at home this season. Harker strolled past Eastside College Prep with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 61-47. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Harker can attribute much of their success to Alan Gao, who posted 21 points. Those 21 points gave Gao a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Rohit Yalla, who scored nine points.

Meanwhile, Crystal Springs Uplands posted their closest victory since January 11th on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Kehillah 64-61.

Harker's victory bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Crystal Springs Uplands, their win bumped their record up to 9-13.
