Basketball Recap: Penn Yan Academy Takes a Loss

Penn Yan Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-48 heartbreaker at the hands of the Waterloo Tigers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 83-45 back in January.

Penn Yan Academy now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Waterloo, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-4.

Penn Yan Academy has already played their next game (against Bloomfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Waterloo will take on Mynderse Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
