Baseball Recap: Foster Gets the Win

Foster proved they can win big on Friday (they won by seven) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 victory over the Klein Forest Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Falcons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The team relied heavily on Hunter Maddox, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Aiden Poirier, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Foster was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .391. The last time their batting average was this high was back in May of 2024.

Foster's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Klein Forest, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3-1 record this season.
