Baseball Recap: Cheraw Continues Home Dominance on Monday

Cheraw entered their tilt with North Central on Monday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They never let the Knights get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Braves, who have now won six games by nine runs or more so far this season.

Will Quick was excellent, getting a hit.

Cheraw's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for North Central, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Cheraw wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 10-0 win against Sumter on the 14th. Hopefully North Central payed attention to the Braves' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Braves at 6:30 p.m. on the 22nd.
