The Blue River Valley Vikings entered their tilt with the Daleville Broncos with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Blue River Valley came out on top against Daleville by a score of 58-51 on Tuesday. That's another feather in the cap for Blue River Valley, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Blue River Valley's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Charlee Gibson, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds and three steals. The match was Gibson's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Maciah Driskill, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Daleville's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Addi Gothrup, who scored 22 points. Another player making a difference was Isabelle Williams, who scored 19 points along with nine rebounds and four steals.

Blue River Valley pushed their record up to 6-3 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Daleville, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Blue River Valley will be home for the holidays to greet Eastbrook at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Daleville, they will head out on the road to face off against Shenandoah at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Shenandoah focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 on Tuesday.
