Softball Recap: Newton Takes a Loss

Newton lost against Grayson two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Newton came up short against Grayson, falling 14-1. That's two games in a row now that Newton has lost by exactly 13 runs.

Newton's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Grayson, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Newton will welcome Luella at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Grayson, they will be playing at home against Peachtree Ridge at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
