Basketball Recap: Waubay/Summit Comes Up Short

Waubay/Summit was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 54-40 to the Florence/Henry Falcons. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in December of 2023.

Waubay/Summit's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Florence/Henry, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waubay/Summit will head out to challenge Leola/Frederick at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Florence/Henry, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they will take on Waverly/South Shore at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
