St. Luke won the last time they faced Cheshire Academy and things went their way on Wednesday too. St. Luke's narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Cheshire Academy 9-7.

Lucia Biasotti made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Biasotti was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lucy Millones, who scored three runs while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Ellie Fatsi, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

The win got St. Luke's back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, St. Luke's will head out on the road to take on Kingswood Oxford at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Cheshire Academy, they will be playing at home against Taft School at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
