Soccer Recap: Lawton Comes Up Short

Lawton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the MacArthur Highlanders, falling 6-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Lawton of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Lawton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for MacArthur, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lawton will square off against rival Southeast at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, MacArthur is set to face off against their familiar foe Noble at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
