Reed's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They managed a 32-28 win over the Bishop Manogue Miners. The 32-point effort marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Reed's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ava Ashby, who posted five points and four steals. Ashby is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played. Chevelle Rogue was another key player, putting up five points and five rebounds.

Despite the defeat, Bishop Manogue saw an underclassman step up: freshman Josie Williamson put up 13 points along with six boards and three steals.

Reed's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-2. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.3 points per game. As for Bishop Manogue, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-10.

Reed didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 60-56 win against Douglas on the 17th. As for Bishop Manogue, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 59-34 victory against Galena on the 17th.
