Basketball Recap: Guernsey-Sunrise Takes a Loss

Guernsey-Sunrise was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were dealt a 68-23 loss at the hands of the Niobrara County Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-16 back in December of 2024.

Guernsey-Sunrise's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Niobrara County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-2.

Coincidentally, Guernsey-Sunrise and Niobrara County will both be playing Southeast the next time they take the court. Niobrara County will host Southeast at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Guernsey-Sunrise will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
