Volleyball Recap: Gull Lake's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

It was a good run, but Gull Lake unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lowell Red Arrows.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-13.

Annalise Clark was the offensive standout of the contest as she had nine digs and four assists.

Gull Lake now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Lowell, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gull Lake will challenge Norrix at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The game will give the Blue Devils their first taste of in-conference action this season. After both having extra time off, Lowell and Cedar Springs will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
