Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hurley). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the South Shore Cardinals a 26-0 shutout on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Northstars in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now won eight in a row.

The win got Hurley back to even at 4-4. As for South Shore, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.
