Baseball Game Preview: Harris-Lake Park Wolves vs. Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn Hawks

Harris-Lake Park is 9-1 against Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn since June of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Wolves will head out on the road to face off against the Hawks at 7:00 p.m. Harris-Lake Park will be strutting in after a win while Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn will be coming in after a loss.

Harris-Lake Park's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They came out on top against South O'Brien by a score of 4-0.

Meanwhile, Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of George-Little Rock.

Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Harris-Lake Park, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-9.

Everything went Harris-Lake Park's way against Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn when the teams last played back in May, as Harris-Lake Park made off with a 21-7 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolves since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
