Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Piedmont). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Cherokee County Warriors 94-59. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Bulldogs have posted since December 23, 2024.

Piedmont's victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-7. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.7 points per game. As for Cherokee County, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-7 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Piedmont won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Anniston at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Anniston knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten games -- so hopefully Piedmont likes a good challenge. As for Cherokee County, they will be playing at home against White Plains at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
