Softball Game Preview: Joliet West Tigers vs. Bolingbrook Raiders

The Joliet West Tigers will face off against the Bolingbrook Raiders at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Joliet West has now lost ten straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since April 15.

Joliet West fell victim to Minooka and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 9-0 to the Indians. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 15 runs the game before, Bolingbrook was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They came up short against Plainfield Central, falling 10-2. The Raiders have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Karina Choi was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.

Bolingbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Joliet West, their loss dropped their record down to 2-19.

Joliet West couldn't quite finish off Bolingbrook when the teams last played back in April of 2021 and fell 4-2. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
