Volleyball Recap: Fairfield Triumphs

Fairfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came out on top against the Lincoln Railsplitters by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Fairfield's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Lincoln, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fairfield will challenge Burlington at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lincoln, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Des Moines East at 7:15 p.m. on the 23rd.
