             Rogers hasn't had much luck against Curtis recently, but that could start to change  on Saturday. The Rogers Rams will look to defend their home field  against the Curtis Vikings  at 7:00  p.m. Rogers knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with 31 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Curtis likes a good challenge.
 Last Friday,  everything came up roses for Rogers on the road  against Silas as the  squad secured  a  76-27 victory. The  match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  49-20.
  Rashard Boone was nothing short of spectacular: he threw for 352 yards and five touchdowns while completing 82.6% of his passes, and also rushed for 70 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries. Another player making a difference was  Josiah Taijeron, who rushed for 113 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries.
 Rogers' defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged three passes before it was all said and done.  Trey Wilson and  Roan Moeck each grabbed an interception.
 Meanwhile,  after soaring to 42  points the game before, Curtis was a bit more limited  in their  contest  on Friday. They fell to Lakes  14-10. The loss was the Vikings' first of the season.
 Rogers now  has a winning record of 2-1. As for Curtis, their  defeat was their first of the  season and also makes their record 2-1.
