Recap: Florala Wildcats vs. Zion Chapel Rebels        
        
		
            
 The Florala Wildcats waltzed into  Friday's  matchup with two straight wins  but they left with three. They came out on top against Zion Chapel by a score of  66-56. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
 Florala's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Rayshon Coleman led the charge by  scoring 26 points along with 7  assists and 3  blocks. That makes it two consecutive games in which  Coleman has scored at least 25% of Florala's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Elijah  McMeans, who  dropped  a double-double on 17 points and 13  rebounds.
 When it comes to explaining why Zion Chapel lost, one person who can't be blamed is  Slade Grantham. Despite the final result, he  scored 29 points. The  matchup was  Grantham's fourth in a row with at least ten points.  Hayden Speckert was another key contributor,  scoring 4 points along with 10  rebounds.
 Florala's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 5-2. As for Zion Chapel,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 6-2.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Florala will  take on Pleasant Home at 7:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in Alabama (Pleasant Home is ranked 113th, while Florala is ranked 89th). Zion Chapel and Wicksburg will face off  at 7:00  p.m.  on December 7th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
