Basketball Game Preview: Mio-Au Sable Thunderbolts vs. Au Gres-Sims Wolverines

The Mio-Au Sable Thunderbolts just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Au Gres-Sims Wolverines at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Mio-Au Sable was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 47-43 to Hillman. The defeat continues a trend for the Thunderbolts in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Meanwhile, Au Gres-Sims came up short against Posen on Tuesday and fell 31-24. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mio-Au Sable now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Au Gres-Sims, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Everything came up roses for Mio-Au Sable against Au Gres-Sims when the teams last played back in December of 2023, as the squad secured a 64-22 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mio-Au Sable since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
