Basketball Recap: Peak to Peak Continues Road Dominance on Friday

Peak to Peak won the last time they faced Prospect Ridge Academy, and Alexandra Eschmeyer did her part to make sure it happened again. The Peak to Peak Pumas really took it to the Prospect Ridge Academy Miners for the full four quarters, racking up a 54-26 victory thanks in part to Eschmeyer, who went 12 of 20 on her way to 28 points along with eight boards and five assists. She has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 32 times she's played.

Despite the loss, Prospect Ridge Academy still got an impressive performance from Amelia Waggoner, who posted 14 points.

Peak to Peak's win was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.9 points. As for Prospect Ridge Academy, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.

Peak to Peak will challenge St. Mary's Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Mary's Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Peak to Peak surely won't give up without a fight. As for Prospect Ridge Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Forge Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Forge Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
