Softball Recap: Moon Valley's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

If Moon Valley was feeling good fresh off their 23-5 takedown of Agua Fria on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rockets lost 24-6 to the Mingus Marauders on Friday. The loss put an end to the Rockets' undefeated start to the season.

Vida Cedillo made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Having lost for the first time this season, Moon Valley fell to 2-1. As for Mingus, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Moon Valley will be playing at home against Tempe at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mingus, they will venture away from home to square off against Goldwater at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
