Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Kaylee Foreman and Isabella Collado Lead Pine Crest to Victory

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Pine Crest walked away with it. They won by a set and slipped past the Saint Andrew's Scots 3-2. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Scots recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Pine Crest got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-17, 19-25, 25-18, 15-25, 15-13.

Leading Pine Crest to victory were Isabella Collado and Kaylee Foreman. Collado had 21 digs and three aces, while Foreman had 20 digs and three aces. Collado has been hot for a while, having also posted 12 or more assists the last 17 times she's played.

Despite the loss, Saint Andrew's still got an impressive performance from Kiersten Rodholm, who had 12 digs and two aces. Another player making a difference was Madelynn Ortlieb, who had nine digs and five assists.

Pine Crest's win bumped their record up to 19-10. As for Saint Andrew's, their loss dropped their record down to 17-10.

Coming up, Pine Crest will head out on the road to face off against Gulliver Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Saint Andrew's does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
