Butler has gone 7-0 against Providence recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Butler Bulldogs will square off against the Providence Panthers at 7:30 p.m. Providence took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Butler, who comes in off a win.

Butler is headed into the game having just posted their biggest victory since December 17, 2024 on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Garinger 63-33. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 118th, while the Wildcats are ranked 504th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Providence duked it out withCharlotte Catholic on Friday. Providence lost to Charlotte Catholic on the road by a 63-47 margin.

Providence's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Butler, their win bumped their record up to 11-8.

Butler was able to grind out a solid victory over Providence in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, winning 57-45. The rematch might be a little tougher for Butler since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
