Basketball Recap: Keys Gate Takes a Loss

After flying high against Florida Christian last Tuesday, Keys Gate came back down to earth. The Keys Gate Knights fell 49-37 to the Palmer Trinity Falcons on Thursday. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2020.

Keys Gate's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Palmer Trinity, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-4.

Keys Gate will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Calvary Christian Academy at 1:40 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Palmer Trinity also won't see the court for a while: their next matchup is against Westminster Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
