We've got a battle between Eagles coming up. Trinity Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 13 runs per game this season.

On Tuesday, Trinity Christian Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Orangewood Christian and fell 7-6. The loss was the Eagles' first of the season.

Charleigh Morasse made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. Morasse is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's stole at least two every time she's taken the field this season. Another player making a difference was Kaitlyn Manzano, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Meanwhile, it may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Legacy Charter ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They walked away with an 11-6 victory over Freedom. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Lindsay Donahey made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 12 over eight innings pitched. Those 12 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Brooklynn Kowal, who scored three runs while going 2-for-4. Layni Combs was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-5.

Having lost for the first time this season, Trinity Christian Academy fell to 3-1. As for Legacy Charter, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Trinity Christian Academy took their victory against Legacy Charter in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 17-2. Does Trinity Christian Academy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Legacy Charter turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
