Baseball Recap: Nazarene Christian Academy Falls Short of First Baptist in the Playoffs

Nazarene Christian Academy and First Baptist squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Nazarene Christian Academy had to settle for second. They fell 4-0 to the Saints. The shutout was out of character for the Lions seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in February.

Nazarene Christian Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aidan Adams, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

With the defeat, Nazarene Christian Academy broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-5. As for First Baptist, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.
