Anthony Filice posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. He struck out six batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he gave up only zero earned runs, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2024.

Coming up, Filice and Timber Creek will host Cypress Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Filice has dominated as far as walks are concerned (he's averaged 0.8 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering the Bears have only allowed 3.2 per game this season.
