Zephyrhills won the last time they faced Wesley Chapel and things went their way on Friday too. The Bulldogs took their matchup with ease, bagging a 42-3 win over the Wildcats. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 89th, while the Wildcats are ranked 366th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Zephyrhills was led to victory by Patrick Harding and Roe Miller. Harding threw for 137 yards and three TDs on only ten passes, while Miller rushed for 121 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries. Miller's longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Zephyrhills proved: they limited Wesley Chapel to a paltry 1.1 yards per carry. While two picked up at least five total tackles, Kyhrii Everett stood above the rest. He picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made five total tackles. Zephyrhills didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 13.7.

Zephyrhills pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Wesley Chapel, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Zephyrhills will take on Wiregrass Ranch at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Wesley Chapel, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Pasco at 7:30 p.m. on the 12th.
