Soccer Recap: Ringgold Comes Up Short

If Ringgold was riding high fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Oakwood Christian last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers came up short against the Heritage Generals on Tuesday, falling 7-4. Olivia Giambrone is probably feeling rather frustrated with she team right now: they lost despite she posting three goals.

Ringgold dropped their record down to 3-10 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Heritage, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Ringgold wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Gilmer on the 14th. As for Heritage, they have also already played their next game, an 8-0 win against Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe on the 14th.
