Basketball Game Preview: Penn Manor Comets vs. Manheim Township Blue Streaks

Penn Manor hasn't had much luck against Manheim Township recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Penn Manor Comets are taking a road trip to square off against the Manheim Township Blue Streaks at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Penn Manor is headed into Monday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They fell 63-53 to Cedar Crest.

Meanwhile, Manheim Township also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Lebanon by a score of 62-52. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Blue Streaks came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 196th, while the Cedars are ranked 470th).

Penn Manor's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Manheim Township, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.

Penn Manor barely slipped by Manheim Township in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, winning 61-60. The rematch might be a little tougher for Penn Manor since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
