Carnegie took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Hinton Comets 48-14. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 42-40 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Looking ahead, Carnegie will square off against Sayre at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hinton, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Thomas-Fay-Custer at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th.
