Softball Recap: Morton Comes Up Short

Morton managed to slip by Deer Creek-Mackinaw the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Potters lost 16-6 to the Chiefs on Monday. The Potters were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chiefs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Morton's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Deer Creek-Mackinaw, their record is now 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Morton will host Canton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Deer Creek-Mackinaw, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Farmington at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
