Volleyball Recap: Rockford Picks Up Third Consecutive Win + How To Watch

Rockford had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They blew past the East Kentwood Falcons 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rams also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Rockford was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-18, 25-17.

Rockford found their leader in sophomore Kaila VanDrie, who had seven digs and four aces. Those four aces set a new season-high mark for VanDrie.

Rockford's record now sits at 23-1. As for East Kentwood, they dropped their record down to 4-22-1 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Rockford and Grand Haven will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Kentwood, they will challenge Hudsonville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
