Basketball Recap: Cedar Ridge Skates Past Fort Worth Christian with Ease

Cedar Ridge picked up another tournament win on Friday. They breezed by the Fort Worth Christian Cardinals to the tune of 69-39. With that victory, the Raiders brought their scoring average up to 50.3 points per game.

Cedar Ridge can attribute much of their success to Bryson Batton, who went 6 of 12 en route to 15 points and six rebounds. The dominant performance gave Batton a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Randall Guidry, who posted nine points.

Cedar Ridge was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The win made it two in a row for Cedar Ridge and bumps their season record up to 7-11. As for Fort Worth Christian, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

Cedar Ridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 45-43 defeat against Rouse on the 28th. As for Fort Worth Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 65-61 loss against Coram Deo Academy on the 3rd.
