Basketball Recap: Lake Forest Victorious

Rockford Auburn typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Lake Forest proved too difficult a challenge. They managed a 60-55 victory over the Rockford Auburn Knights.

Despite the loss, Rockford Auburn still got an impressive performance from Amir Danforth, who went 10 for 22 en route to 30 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Champ Parker, who went 6 of 13 on his way to 14 points and seven assists.

Lake Forest is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for Rockford Auburn, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-8.

Lake Forest wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 46-38 win against Vernon Hills on the 21st. As for Rockford Auburn, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 65-56 loss against Guilford on the 22nd.
