Baseball Recap: Valley Takes a Loss

Valley was the 1-0 winner over Forge Christian when they last played one another back in May of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Vikings fell 6-2 to the Fury on Friday. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Caleb Dudley made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases.

Valley's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Forge Christian, they pushed their record up to 17-2 with the win, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valley will venture away from home to take on Platte Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Forge Christian, they will head out to face off against The Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
