Basketball Recap: Frankfort Takes a Loss

Frankfort lost against DuQuoin back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Frankfort Redbirds took a hard 60-42 fall against the DuQuoin Indians. That's two games in a row now that the Redbirds have lost by exactly 18 points.

Frankfort has been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season. As for DuQuoin, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-10.

Frankfort and DuQuoin could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. Frankfort will face off against Pinckneyville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday down 420 places (461 vs. 41). Meanwhile, DuQuoin (ranked 284th) will meet Benton (ranked 50th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
