Soccer Game Preview: Jurupa Hills vs. Anaheim

The Jurupa Hills Spartans will face off against the Anaheim Colonists at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jurupa Hills' last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Saturday just wasn't the day for Jurupa Hills' offense. They fell just short of Harvard-Westlake by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 101st, while the Wolverines are ranked 14th).

Meanwhile, Anaheim also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 3-0 to Warren on Saturday. The shutout was out of character for the Colonists seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in January.

Jurupa Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Anaheim, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.
