Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Navasota

Navasota entered their tilt with Little River Academy on Friday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Little River Academy Bumblebees. For the Rattlers, this counts as revenge for the 1-0 win the Bumblebees walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Jaxson Bowman, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was JD Saldana, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Navasota pushed their record up to 6-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.7 runs over those games. As for Little River Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.
