Having struggled with six losses in a row, Blackville-Hilda turned things around against Wagener-Salley on Friday. They walked away with a 72-61 victory over the War Eagles. The contest marked the Fighting Hawks' most dominant win of the season.

Blackville-Hilda was able to grind out a solid victory over Ridge Spring-Monetta in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, winning 74-66. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Ridge Spring-Monetta's Jaiden Holloway, who dropped a double-double on 33 points and ten boards.
