Softball Game Preview: Morgan Huskies vs. Westbrook Knights

Morgan is on a four-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Westbrook a six-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Wednesday. The Morgan Huskies will be playing at home against the Westbrook Knights at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Monday just wasn't the day for Morgan's offense. They came up short against Portland on Monday, falling 14-0. The match marked the first time this season in which the Huskies were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Westbrook scored the most runs they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 21-10 to East Hampton. While the Knights didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bellringers 4-0 in the first period.

Morgan's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Westbrook, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
