Softball Recap: Fair Grove Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Skyline

Fair Grove faced Skyline in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Eagles fell 5-1 to the Tigers. The match marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Hali Stokes made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one run and one double.

Fair Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 17-4. As for Skyline, they pushed their record up to 28-1 with the victory, which was their 14th straight at home.
