Basketball Recap: St. Bede Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact St. Bede can now relate to. They fell 67-56 to the Forreston Cardinals on Wednesday.

St. Bede has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-19 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points over those games. Forreston has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-12 record this season.

St. Bede does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Forreston, they will challenge Annawan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
