Softball Recap: Southeastern Comes Up Short

Southeastern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 5-2 to the Blackman Blaze.

Southeastern saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Moon, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Southeastern's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Blackman, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Southeastern didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 18-0 win against Franklin Monroe on the 2nd. As for Blackman, they have also already played their next game, a 10-0 defeat against Orange Beach on the 3rd.
