Jay Herrera continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his third-straight game with at least 101 rushing yards. He rushed for 309 yards and four TDs on only nine carries. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (141.8) per game.

Herrera and Weslaco East will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Flour Bluff at 7:30 p.m. on October 3. The game will pit Herrera up against the Hornets' star rusher Samuel Smith. It's not every day two stars like this collide on the field. So who leaves it the victor?
